Autism Funding from the BC Ministry of Children & Family Development
Autism funding helps pay for eligible services or supports that promote skill development for children living with autism.
Apply for Funding
- Applying for funding is a four-step process. You can find the full details for each step on the BC Ministry for Children & Family Development website.
- Get a diagnostic assessment
- Meet with a Children & Youth with Special Needs Worker
- Sign the funding agreement
- Hire service providers, such as Sound Path Creative Care
Funding Amount
- For children aged 6 to 18, up to $6,000 per year for each child can be used for Music Therapy.
To choose Sound Path Creative Care as your service provider:
- Complete a Request to Pay (RTP) Services Providers Form
- Sound Path Creative Care will invoice the Ministry directly for payment each month
- Manage your funding online with My Family Services
